Nigel’s Honey

St Helena honey is inextricably linked to the island's rich tapestry of endemic plant species. With nearly half of its flora found nowhere else on Earth, St Helena's bees have access to a diverse range of nectar sources that impart distinctive flavours and aromas to their honey, and make it one of the purest in the world.

Nigel started beekeeping less than a decade ago in his spacious backyard and quickly grew his apiary out of passion and dedication, aided by the unique climate of the Sandy Bay area on the south side of St Helena, where he and his family live. He sells his honey to friends, locals, and the few lucky visitors who happen to be on the island at the right time of year.
