When Berlin ends, endless nature and a constellation of villages untouched by mass tourism spread in all directions. This is the region of Brandenburg — historical, green, sustainable long before it was a global necessity, and rich with escapism opportunities.

Yet, beyond the popular city of Potsdam, Brandenburg remains hidden in plain sight to international audiences, almost exclusively enjoyed by domestic visitors for its hiking trails, farm-to-table cuisine, and cycling routes - among its numerous attractions.

The local tourism authority put together a bespoke itinerary that allowed me to capture the essence of the region in order to land UK publications. The photoshoot called for a fine art visual flair to reflect the elegance and cleanliness permeating the destination and truly showing to Berlin visitors the natural and cultural treasures that lie a stone's throw away from the German capital.
